Zenvo And The TSR-S: A Story Of 1.177HP And A Crazy Rear Wing

In short it is a track-only TSR made suitable for the road. But it is not just the addition of the S to the name, because despite having the same 5.8 twin-supercharged V8, the power has increased reaching 1.177HP and 1.100Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

The 0-100 is done in just 2.8 seconds and the maximum speed declared is 325 kph. The Danes at Zenvo claim to have “tamed” the TSR-S with the adaptation of a lift system that will allow to raise the nose in case of speed bumps, while the various driving modes will be able to limit the power output starting from a minimum of 700 horses.

But the heart of the project is the special centripetal Zenvo wing, patented by the Company and introduced on this very model; it bends and partially rotates around the longitudinal axis of the car to produce a shift of vertical pressure on the inside wheel while cornering. It’s able to do that by lifting through actuators placed next to the structure that supports the wing and rotating slightly in the opposite direction. Mental!
