Latest Super-Light Toy: Elemental RP1
Thankfully, the Brits do not care about downsizing. In place of sticking thousands of horses and ten turbochargers under the hoods of big and heavy saloons, they prefer to keep producing small weapons for the track, that make you sit no more than a couple of centimeters from the ground and which are capable of make you feel every little asphalt disconnection. The newcomer, called Elemental RP1 is not far behind, and after a long wait, and an indefinite number of kilometers of development, is finally ready to be unveiled to the public in Goodwood, in its final road version.
The RP1 will not weigh more than 600kg, it has the classic “barchetta” line, rear-wheel drive and will be available in several versions, including the entry level 180hp and the most powerful 320hp variant. Obviously, thanks to its lightweight, it cavalry guarantees performance able to trouble supercar with twice or three times the power, but a strong point of the Elemental will also be the drivability, thanks to a rigid frame and a perfect pilot-road connectivity.
For the moment we do not know much more, nor the price, which we assume would be around the 80/90 thousand Euros. We just have to wait for the Festival of Speed and, among the other things, enjoy this new entry.
