Porsche 911 T: Driving Purity Redefined
Showing the world that the fierce run for performance is not the only goal, Porsche gives us an extremely interesting model. The new 911 Carrera T is proposed as the ideal vehicle for the contemporary Porsche driver who wants to experience the emotions that a mid 60’s Carrera was able to give. Simplified – at least in appearance and lighter (- 35kg) thanks to the use of lighter glass, the 911 T has a mechanical self-locking differential at the rear, lower PASM suspensions, shortened shift lever and a reminiscing cockpit of those years in which for driving a Porsche fast you needed the right attributes.
The 911 T, where T is for Touring, will be available either with manual gearbox or with dual clutch PDK box, ensuring performance like 4.3 seconds and 4 seconds respectively for the 0-100 kph. Behind the rear axle, the impressive twin-turbo 3.0 6-cylinder with 370-hp, ideal soundtrack for those who would prefer to give up the stereo system in favor of an empty compartment in the center console. We already feel the flavor of past driving purity, carried on a car capable of crossing over 50 years of evolution, remaining imperturbable in the wishes of enthusiasts.
