Hot-Hatch From Another World
To simply calling the new Audi RS3 Sportback a hot-hatch sounds a bit ‘like a stretch, since the version that will soon be presented at the Geneva Motor Show has every appearance of being a supercar for the family. The 2.5 5-cylinder outputs 400hp to the ground, which thanks to the 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the Quattro all-wheel drive, you can be sure that will be available for your purposes without problems. Figures are clear: 0-100 kph in just 4.1 seconds and a top speed of about 280 per hour.
The RS3 Sportback therefore gains 33 horses compared to the version that goes to update, but at the same time loses weight, to the benefit of a further improved dynamic. You can also opt for carbon-ceramic brakes up front and enjoy the more aggressive look with a more pronounced rear diffuser to accommodate the four tailpipes. In short, the thin line between sports and supercar is now becoming a matter of design, because in terms of performance, these bad girls that wink to everyday life, are certainly not waiting for anything and anybody.
