Kissed by the Orta’s Lake, Orta San Giulio is a wonderful little town located in northern Italy and representing one of the most beautiful villages of the entire Country.

Of course you can reach the village by car, but then you’ll want to immerse yourself into the numerous historical alleys to behold the incredible architectural elegance of the centre and maybe take the ferry to the Isle of San Giulio, almost entirely dedicated to the fascinating Mater Ecclesiae Abbey and a bunch of houses, inhabited just for a small portion of the year.
